An essential element of Christian formation is learning about our faith. This effort includes the study of Scripture, theology, church history, moral theory and practice, and liturgy. It also encompasses understanding how our Christian identities intersect with the broader culture in literature, music, art, and our shared political life. St. John’s is committed to offering its parishioners regular educational opportunities in these areas throughout the program year.

Most weeks between services we discuss a current news story from a biblical perspective, and occasionally we have guest speakers. New learners are always welcome, and no advanced preparation is needed.
